The base damage of gross out is slightly larger than the best base damage attack, and it can be increased up to 40%. You can end up doing around 600 damage per turn with it. It does not stack well with extra attack. Instead, I'd recommend the plantmancer.

The bonuses on your artifacts affect your entire team, and are also independent of your DNA. So if you pick all status effects artifacts, and use a burn skill, the burn will do roughly the same.
